LEVELLING UP FUND GRANT SCHEME - HULL CITY COUNCIL
Grants available to businesses to bring unused floorspace of any vacant or partially occupied property in Hull city centre back to use in specified areas.
Purpose to allow a diverse range of businesses to open and operate in the area and create new permanent jobs. Grants of up to £750,000 are available, covering up to 50% of total project costs – Applicants must provide a minimum of 50% match funding.

THE JOHN CRACKNELL YOUTH ENTERPRISE BANK
Funding is available for young people who live in Hull to develop their enterprising ideas.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available although in exceptional circumstances grants above this figure may be provided. The Youth Enterprise Bank (YEB) also offers practical help with developing business idea. To be eligible, applicants must be a young person or a group of young people aged up to 21 years and living in Hull, East Riding and the towns of Malton, Norton on Derwent, Pickering and Scarborough.
ENTERPRISE PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE - UK
The Prince’s Trust helps young people aged 18 to 30 who want to set up their own business in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Got a business in mind or want to explore an idea? From training and mentoring support to funding and resources, the scheme is here to help you become the best entrepreneur you can be. The free Enterprise programme takes place in a centre near you and is broken down into three stages before a launch to a Business Launch Group .
UnLTD - YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR INVESTMENT AWARDS
Provider of support to social young entrepreneurs in the UK. Large network for supporting social enterprise in the world.
Every year their core Awards programme resources hundreds of individuals, allowing them to fulfil their plans to support social enterprise across the UK. Alongside investing directly into individuals, they offer awards of funding, ongoing advice, networking and practical support. Start-up and Scaling-up funding is available
BUSINESS ENTERPRISE FUND - NORTH EAST ENGLAND
Financial start-up and recovery loan support for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Yorkshire and the North East.
SPARKFUND INNOVATION VOUCHERS
SparkFund is delivered by the University of Hull and funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Vouchers to enable companies to access new markets, increase revenues, build knowledge and increase the value of their brands. Maximum value£ 20,000 – A programme to enable companies to access new markets, increase revenues, build knowledge and increase the value of their brands.
FINANCE FOR ENTERPRISE - START UP BUSINESS LOANS
A loan scheme aimed at entrepreneurs who want to start up their own business in Yorkshire and the Humber, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.
Finance for Enterprise is the local delivery partner for Start Up Loans, a Government backed national initiative. Aimed at ambitious people who want to start up their own businesses with a fixed interest rate of 6% p.a
ACCESS TO WORK: SUPPORT IF YOU HAVE A DISABILITY OR HEALTH CONDITION
Get help at work, including an Access to Work grant, if you have a disability or health condition.
Your workplace can include your home if you work from there some or all of the time. It does not matter how much you earn. If you get an Access to Work grant, it will not affect any other benefits you get and you will not have to pay it back.
10,000 SMALL BUSINESSES UK
A business development programme designed to unlock the economic and job creation potential of small businesses and social enterprises from across the UK.
Helping small business and social enterprise leaders enhance the skills, strategies and networks they need to fulfil their businesses’ growth potential. The programme brings together leaders of small businesses from across industry sectors and creates networking opportunities.
HSBC GREEN SME FUND
HSBC UK has announced the launch of a £500m Green SME Fund as part of its commitment to support businesses of all sizes to transition and thrive in a low carbon economy.
The new £500m fund is available for businesses with a turnover of less than £25m and will offer 1% cashback on loans, starting from £1,0002 to help SMEs invest in green activities. This is the first green offering for small businesses with a cashback proposal in the UK.
LOW-EMISSION VEHICLES PLUG-IN-GRANT
You can get a discount on the price of brand new low-emission vehicles through a grant the government gives to vehicle dealerships and manufacturers.
Deadline: 1000 grants between 1 April 2022 and 31 March 2023
Not all low-emission vehicles will get a grant. Only vehicles that have been approved by the government are eligible for a grant.
